Every kind, one call
Orange is the largest area we cover and the furthest. It has an international airport, two interstates, six commuter station lots and the densest car dealerships in the region — and its western edge is over an hour from us.
We’d rather set that out plainly than let you discover it while waiting.
An airport and two interstates
Stewart International Airport sits across Newburgh and New Windsor, run by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. It’s the only airport in our coverage and it produces the hardest key problem we see — cars left for days, drivers landing late, and a spare key by definition somewhere else entirely.
I-84 and I-87 cross at Newburgh, with NY-17 running west toward Middletown and Port Jervis as it becomes I-86. That makes Orange a county people pass through as much as one they live in, and a meaningful share of our calls here come from drivers who aren’t local at all.
Six station lots
Unlike Ulster, Orange has rail — the Port Jervis Line, operated by NJ Transit under Metro-North.
Stations at Salisbury Mills–Cornwall, Harriman, Middletown, Campbell Hall, Otisville and the Port Jervis terminus. Harriman is the largest at 985 spaces; Middletown holds 750; Cornwall 677.
Metro-North doesn’t publish per-station ridership for this line, only line-wide totals, so we won’t quote numbers we can’t stand behind. The parking speaks for itself — several thousand cars across the county, sitting all day.
Port Jervis Line commutes run longer than Hudson Line ones, which means later returns and problems discovered further into the evening.

Dealer-dense, then nothing
Orange has the two densest dealer strips in our whole coverage: around nine franchised stores on Route 17K at Newburgh, and a comparable cluster on Route 211 at Middletown.
If you live near either, the dealer is genuinely close and often the right call when your car drives.
Then it stops. New Windsor has none despite holding half an airport. Cornwall, Woodbury, Hamptonburgh, Mount Hope, Maybrook, Walden, Crawford, Blooming Grove, Washingtonville, Greenville and Minisink have none. Several are a long way from the nearest.
Our comparison of what each option can do covers the alternatives.
How far we actually go
Newburgh and New Windsor are around half an hour from us — regular runs.
Middletown, Goshen and Woodbury are longer. Deerpark, Greenville and Minisink, out on the New Jersey and Pennsylvania borders, are over an hour.
We do go. But if there’s a closer option for your situation out west, take it. Where we’re still worth the call is when there isn’t one, when the car can’t move, or when what you need is a key made rather than a door opened.
That’s the honest version, and it’s on the individual town pages too.
Frequently asked questions
Do you cover all of Orange County?
Yes, including the far western towns — but Deerpark and Minisink are over an hour from our base and we’d rather say so upfront.
Is there an airport in Orange County?
Stewart International, across Newburgh and New Windsor. It produces the longest-stay parking anywhere in our coverage.
Does Orange County have trains?
Yes — the Port Jervis Line, with six stations. Unlike Ulster, which has no passenger rail at all.
Where are the dealerships in Orange?
Two dense strips — Route 17K at Newburgh and Route 211 at Middletown. Most other towns in the county have none.
How long will you take to reach me?
It genuinely depends. Newburgh is half an hour; the western border is over an hour. Tell us where the car is and you’ll get a realistic answer rather than an optimistic one.
I’ve landed at Stewart and my car won’t unlock.
The most common call we get from this county, and it’s usually a fob battery after days outdoors. See the Newburgh page for detail.
